STERISEPT — aldehyde-free concentrate for cleaning and disinfecting medical instruments

STERISEPT is a concentrated, actively cleaning agent for cleaning and disinfecting medical instruments. It contains no chlorine, phenols, aldehydes or phosphates.

Properties

• broad-spectrum bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal and sporicidal activity — kills Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, viruses and fungi, incl. TB, HBV, HCV, HIV, vaccinia, rotavirus, adenovirus, papovavirus, enterovirus, MRSA and others;
• excellent cleaning power thanks to the high concentration of active substances — removes blood, secretions and grease from instruments;
• suitable for all types of ultrasonic baths.

Field of application

• disinfection of heat-sensitive and heat-stable medical instruments: endoscopes, optical instruments and accessories, bronchoscopes, forceps, laryngoscopes, intubation tubes, suction tubes, laboratory glassware, dental (incl. rotary) instruments and other medical equipment;
• disinfection of cosmetology instruments and equipment in all infection risk groups;
• where needed — disinfection of surfaces and equipment with a working solution (floors, walls, equipment, toilets, WC bowls, bedpans etc.).

Directions for use

Working solution concentration and contact time according to the instructions for use. Surfaces not in contact with food do not need rinsing. A working solution in use remains stable for 24 hours; a prepared, unused working solution can be stored for 7 days.

Composition

Alkylamines (dodecyldiamine), quaternary ammonium compounds, non-ionic surfactants, IDS, foam stabiliser, corrosion inhibitor, complexing agent.
